Killer Boots

Posted by Jody and Stephanie Tettleton

I'm now the proud owner of a new pair of Nocona Boots. If you know me fairly well you will know that my parents are from the small North Texas town of Nocona and this company was once the heart and soul of the town. The company has moved locations but I've always been fascinated with it and the great Nokona (different spelling) baseball gloves that I had as a kid. I took a new job in Fort Worth, aka the Town of the Cow, and promised myself that this was that perfect opportunity to get a good pair of boots to wear to work. My grandparents, would be proud! I know I sure am. They are just a pair of boots but they make me smile because they evoke some good memories of a fun place. Comfortable too.

oooh, I like! :) Especially the touch of red... it's kind of like a red petticoat... no one's supposed to see it, but if they do, it leaves an impression. :)
